The Prayer for Protection was written by the late James Dillet Freeman, poet laureate of the Unity movement and director of Silent Unity, Unity’s worldwide prayer ministry.
“Beloved, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24
Unity is a ministry founded on the power of prayer. It was through prayer that our co-founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, received significant and seemingly miraculous healings. Prayer always has been central to Unity and to our ministry at Unity SouthShore.
Whether you are already an important part of our spiritual family or not, we consider it a blessing to pray with you.
If you are experiencing circumstances in your life, or in the life of a loved one, that calls out for prayer, please fill out a prayer request any Sunday during our service, and we will add you to our prayer list.
Our Prayer Team will pray daily for your request for 30 days and then send the request to Silent Unity, our movement’s worldwide prayer ministry in Unity Village, Missouri, for an additional 30 days of powerful prayer.
Should you be in the hospital and want someone to call on you and/or pray with you, please call the
Unity SouthShore Spiritual Life Center at 813-481-9060.
